Lotterstein will exec produce laffer with Acme Prods.

Fox has greenlit the sitcom pilot “The War at Home,” from scribe Rob Lotterstein (“The Big House”).

Cast-contingent laffer, which comes from Warner Bros. TV, revolves around a dysfunctional family where the hypocritical parents are forced to face off with their kids. Lotterstein will exec produce, along with Acme Prods. principals Mindy Schultheis and Michael Hanel.

Lotterstein most recently worked with Acme on the pilot “16 to Life,” which he originally created with his late writing partner, Ellen Idelson.

Scribe last season served as a co-exec producer on the short-lived ABC sitcom “The Big House.” Other credits include “Danny,” “Grosse Pointe,” “Will & Grace,” “Holding the Baby” and “Suddenly Susan.”

Acme’s credits include producing “Reba” for the WB.
