Warner Bros. Pictures has promoted Jodi Levinson to senior VP of business affairs.
She will continue to report to Patti Connolly, exec VP of business affairs.
In her new post, Levinson will remain responsible for negotiating agreements with filmmakers and talent, with primary dealmaking responsibility for the studio’s agreements with David Heyman’s Heyday Pictures, Chris Columbus’ 1492 Pictures, Denise DiNovi’s DiNovi Pictures and Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney’s Section Eight. Films with which she has recently been involved include the “Harry Potter” series, “Starsky and Hutch,” “Scooby-Doo” and its sequel and the upcoming “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”
Levinson’s “skills and judgment have been invaluable in helping us to positively resolve the many complex negotiations needed to bring our film projects to fruition,” said Connolly.Levinson joined WB Pictures in 1994 as director of business affairs and was named VP in October 1998. Previously, she served as senior attorney for the motion picture group at Paramount Pictures.
