TV Acad, praisery reup deal

Lippin Group relationship began in December 1997

HOLLYWOOD — The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has sealed a new multiyear deal with the Lippin Group to retain the public relations company’s services.

Lippin Group handles both the Academy and its nonprofit Foundation, including corporate, awards and event publicity — such as the Primetime, Creative Arts and L.A. Area Emmy Awards.

ATAS has relied on Lippin Group’s counsel since December 1997. Pam Golum and Robin Mesger oversee the account under Lippin Group CEO Dick Lippin.

“The Lippin Group has served the Academy long and well not only on an operational but a strategic level too,” said ATAS chairman-CEO Dick Askin.
