Trying to feel at ‘Home’

Outfest closes festival with Spacek pic

Their Gotham preem already behind them, principals behind “A Home at the End of the World” still displayed lingering uncertainty about how to behave at Monday night’s L.A. bow.

“I’m so used to opening a play,” said helmer Michael Mayer. “I just don’t know how it works with a movie.” Fellow film newcomer Dallas Roberts confessed, “I have no idea what I’m getting into.”

Chinese Theater preem doubled as the closer for Outfest and attracted such thesps as Camryn Manheim and “Home” star Sissy Spacek. The festivities continued afterwards at the Avalon, which sported a pulsing dance floor.
