Trevor Morgan (“The Rookie”) has landed a gig opposite Julianne Moore and Woody Harrelson in “The Prizewinner of Defiance, Ohio.”
Based on the memoirs of Terry Ryan, the Revolution-DreamWorks period pic concerns a couple who struggle to raise 10 children on the little money the mother brings in by winning jingle writing contests.
Jane Anderson wrote the script and will helm the film, which begins production next week in Toronto.
Morgan will next be seen in “Mean Creek” for Paramount Classics. He most recently wrapped “Empire Falls” for HBO.
