Stars hole up at Caesars for benefit

MPTF fund-raiser causes celebs to tee-off in Vegas

LAS VEGAS — Celebrities flocked to Caesars Palace and the Cascata golf course May 1-2 for the 6th annual Michael Douglas & Friends Celebrity Golf Tournament to benefit the Motion Picture & Television Fund.

“I realize now that this (golf) is a lifelong career,” Douglas said. “I’m really very glad that I have a day job.”

Avid golfer Alice Cooper disclosed, “When I am playing Kenny G, I put the makeup on.”

Those teeing off included Heather Locklear, Luke Wilson, Andy Garcia, Kyle MacLachlan, Haley Joel Osment, William Petersen, Martin Sheen, Robert Wagner, Mark Wahlberg, Leslie Nielsen, Tom Arnold and Joe Pesci.
