Susanne Schosser, programming director at tyke web Super RTL, is ankling her post at year’s end to head EM.TV subsidiaries Junior.TV and EM.Entertainment.
Schosser will start her new job at the Munich-based licensing company in April, replacing Matthias Schulze, who is leaving the company.
She joins Patrick Elmendorff, who co-heads EM.TV’s two main content divisions.
Schosser will be in charge of production, acquisitions and domestic sales.
EM.TV topper Werner Klatten said the company was planning to increase production, home entertainment distribution and boost the company’s Junior tyke channel on paybox Premiere.
“The top-class appointment is a sign of our goal to further develop children and youth programming in the new EM.Entertainment division,” Klatten added.
Super RTL chief Claude Schmit will takeover Schosser’s duties at the broadcaster until a replacement is found. Schmit said Schosser’s successor would likely be appointed from the web’s own ranks.
