Purcell in on ‘Prison Break’

Scheuring penned pilot starring 'Doe' star

Dominic Purcell has joined the cast of Fox’s action pilot “Prison Break.”

Purcell will star opposite Wentworth Miller in the project, which revolves around a man who commits a crime in order to get into prison and break out his brothersitting on death row.

Purcell starred in Fox’s short-lived drama “John Doe” and appears in the new feature “Blade: Trinity.” Other credits include the feature “Mission Impossible II” and the telepics “First Daughter” and “Moby Dick.” He recently guested on Fox’s “North Shore.”

“Prison Break” comes from 20th Century Fox TV, as well as Marty Adelstein, Dawn Parouse and Brett Ratner. Paul Scheuring wrote the pilot.
