Omnicom aiming to add Endeavor arm

Deal would not include agency's talent or lit business

Ad giant the Omnicom Group is in talks to acquire Endeavor Marketing Solutions, the marketing arm of the Endeavor talent agency.

The agency’s marketing division reps corporate clients such as American Express and Entertainment Weekly and has maintained one-off relationships with companies such as America Online, Ferrari and Maserati. Managing director James Yaffe oversees the division.

The deal would not include Endeavor’s talent or lit business, which includes clients such as Adam Sandler, Martin Scorsese and Matt Damon.

Omnicom holdings include top global ad agencies BBDO Worldwide, DDB Worldwide and TBWA Worldwide as well as major national ad agencies with client lists that include Target, Wal-Mart and Anheuser-Busch. Omnicom also owns significant companies that specialize in direct marketing, promotion and public relations.
