Pauline Bohm has been named to the newly created post of VP, international marketing, for NBC Universal Television Distribution.
She will report to exec VP of marketing Dan Weiss and will develop strategies for international markets serviced by the NBC U division.
In addition, she will be responsible for overseeing the creation of marketing materials, including ad campaigns, presentation tapes, sales market and special event presence and collateral materials for all NBC U titles distributed under the divisional banner.
Bohm joins NBC U after serving as a marketing consultant to myriad entertainment industry clients, both in the TV and the music arenas. Before her consultancy role, Bohm was senior VP of international marketing for Pearson TV (now FremantleMedia) from 1996-2001.
Before Pearson, Bohm was exec director of NBC advertising and promotion from 1985-96. Bohm began her career in 1982 as an account exec for the ad agency Clemenger Australia.
