Fox Movie Channel has tapped Adam Lewinson VP of programming.
Lewinson, who reports to net general manager Chuck Saftler, will oversee development of the net’s original programming and work to increase brand awareness.
Exec will supervise day-to-day operations of the FMC, including programming, marketing and scheduling. FMC is available in 30 million homes.
Previously, Lewinson was a veep of studio entertainment at Lifetime, where he maintained relationships with studio talent and helped rebrand Lifetime Movie Network. He was also instrumental in launching Lifetime Home Entertainment.
Before that, he held positions in the marketing and promotions departments of Columbia Pictures, Columbia TriStar Home Video and Buena Vista Home Video.
