Farrell ‘Scrubs’ for TV

'Alexander' thesp preps for primetime

Colin Farrell makes his American primetime TV debut in an episode of “Scrubs” that will air Jan. 25. He plays Billy Callahan, an unruly Irishman.

Farrell is pals with series star Zach Braff. After promoting the Oliver Stone-directed “Alexander” and wrapping the Terrence Malick-directed pic “The New World,” he’s home for the holidays and made his first television foray since the BBC series “Ballykissangel” began his rapid ascension into feature films.
