There was a disturbance at the premiere of “Man on Fire” Sunday night — and her name was Jennifer Lopez.
J.Lo’s red carpet arrival several minutes after boy toy and “Fire” star Marc Anthony did nothing to quell speculation from the Westwood crowd about the duo: Are we seeing a Marc-iffer in the making?
“Oh yeah, Jennifer Lopez is great in the movie. She did great work,” snarked topliner Denzel Washington as the screams of fans and paparazzi for Lopez drowned him out during an interview.
Five months of filming in Mexico City results in a bloody tale of kidnapping, torture and revenge helmed by Tony Scott. Rough stuff — but all in a day’s work for unflappable 9-year-old Dakota Fanning, who plays the abductee.
“I know it’s just a movie,” she declared.
Post-bow, Lopez and Anthony held court at the Hammer Museum bash, where mariachis serenaded preemgoers as they sidled up to build-your-own taco and margarita bars.
