NEW YORK — CNN has filled the top exec producer slots at both “Anderson Cooper 360 Degrees” and “NewsNight With Aaron Brown.”
Sharon Van Zwieten, who left CNN last fall for ABC News, has returned to the cable news net to exec produce Brown’s 10 p.m. news hour.
Van Zwieten, who began her duties April 19, succeeds David Bohrman, who was recently upped to VP of news and Washington bureau chief. Most recently at CNN, Van Zwieten was exec producer for news for the net’s morning programming.
Terry Baker, most recently Brown’s senior producer, has been named senior executive producer of Cooper’s 7 p.m. show.
Kathleen Friery, senior producer of “360,” has been upped to exec producer.
Appointments were announced by CNN U.S. exec veep-general manager Princell Hair.
“360” and “Paula Zahn Now” were recently left without a senior exec producer when Jim Miller resigned; he had overseen both shows. CNN is expected to announce a replacement for Zahn’s program in the coming days.
