In an extension to its existing deal with Irish broadcaster RTE, Disney’s foreign TV arm, Buena Vista Intl. TV is supplying a clutch of movies, current series and animation.
Deals were unveiled Monday by BVITV veep Alison Homewood and Dermot Horan, director of broadcast and acquisitions at RTE.
Movies under the deal include “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” and “Kill Bill” as well as ABC series hits “Desperate Housewives” and “Lost.”
RTE will also broadcast drama series “Life as We Know It” and “Kevin Hill” plus the upcoming midseason medical drama series “Grey’s Anatomy.”
