Broder Webb Chervin Silbermann Agency is getting into reality TV, launching a department devoted to growing the next generation of the genre’s producers.
Susan Simons, previously a tenpercenter at David Shapira & Associates, has joined as head of the division. Prior to becoming an agent, she headed up daytime at the Irv Schecter Co. and before that was director of latenight programming at CBS.
Simons’ Shapira colleague Marc Kamler has joined as a reality agent, serving alongside BWCS’ Chris Ceccarelli, a coordinator recently promoted to agent.
Newly formed unit houses 75 clients specializing in reality, including production companies Asylum Entertainment (E!’s “Love Is in the Heir”), H20 (Pax’s “Second Verdict”) and Lynch Siderow Prods. (“Jackass,” “The Andy Dick Show”).
BWCS also reps Spike Jonze, helmer Chris Donovan (“The Golden Globes”), Kevin Mock (“America’s Next Top Model”) and Clay Jacobson (“Dennis Miller”).
