Biller’s heading ‘North’

Scribe debuts skein on June 14

Writer-director Ken Biller has signed on as a co-executive producer on Fox’s “North Shore,” while securing a blind script deal at 20th Century Fox TV.

Biller will develop a drama with studio, in addition to writing and directing on “North Shore” (which 20th produces). Biller will work closely with exec producers Chris Brancato and Bert Salke, as well as Kevin Falls and Peyton Reed.

The scribe most recently was a co-exec producer on “Smallville.” Biller spent several years on “Star Trek: Voyager,” working his way up to exec producer of the series. His credits also include “Dark Angel” and “The X-Files.”

Biller has helmed several episodes of “Smallville,” “Dark Angel” and other skeins.

“North Shore,” starring Kristoffer Polaha, James Remar and Brooke Burns, revolves around the staff of a luxury resort in Hawaii. Series debuts June 14.
