ABC has upped Veronica Gentilli to VP of business affairs at Touchstone TV.
Exec will handle above-the-line talent deals for pilots, series and longform projects at the studio. She reports to Touchstone exec VP Howard Davine, who announced the promotion last week.
“Veronica is an exceptionally smart, effective dealmaker with a unique, highly personable style,” Davine said.
Gentilli had previously been director of business affairs, having joined Touchstone in November 2003. Before that, she handled various business affairs and legal duties at Big Ticket TV and Viacom Prods.
Heading into fall, Gentilli oversees upcoming drama “Life as We Know It” and midseason limited run “Empire,” as well as deals with exec producers including Craig Zadan and Neil Meron; Stu Bloomberg; Jeff Kline and Jim Parriott.
Gentilli previously served as an associate at Irell & Manella and clerked for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
