Interbrew brews new label

World Brief

BRUSSELS — Sony and BMG beware: After what it calls a disastrous year for Belgium’s music biz, international brewer Interbrew has decided to step in to save the day by launching its own label in the country, Stella Artois Music.

Interbrew, which produces fave European beers such as Beck’s and Boddingtons, will launch the new venture officially Sunday.

Label will be led by Len Doens, former program director for Flemish music TV channel TMF, part of Viacom’s MTV Networks Belgium.
