BMG taps ad pitchman

Exec will pitch songs for commercials

NEW YORK — Ed Razzano has been named senior director of film and TV for BMG.

Razzano will work with advertising agencies on the East Coast, pitching BMG songs and recordings and negotiating deals for commercials.

Based in Gotham, he will report to Ron Broitman, veepee of film and TV in L.A.

“The contacts Ed has built over his career, as well as his knowledge of the inner workings of the industry and his love of music, make him the perfect candidate to be BMG’s East Coast creative contact to our advertising clients,” Broitman said.

Razzano joins BMG from Sprint Music Group, where he most recently served as senior creative director, responsible for pitching songs to advertising, film and television companies.
