NEW YORK — Road grosses fell 7.5% to $12,167,023 during Week 27 (Nov. 29-Dec. 5) despite one extra show on the boards, as 12 of 19 returning shows saw grosses decrease.

“The King and I” ($291,515) and “Scrooge” ($316,609) returned, while “Hairspray” in Toronto is off the chart after closing the previous week. “Movin’ Out’s” $909,197 broke a house record at the National in Washington, D.C.
