TORONTO — Warner Bros. Pictures, giant screen theater company Imax Corp. and NASCAR are getting set for a record-breaking release of their collaboration “NASCAR 3D: The Imax Experience.”
An insider’s perspective on “America’s No. 1 spectator sport,” narrated by Kiefer Sutherland, the film will open in 68 North American theaters March 12, the widest Imax domestic release ever.
“This record is a testament to the appeal of NASCAR and how this film lends itself to the scale and power of Imax,” said Dan Fellman, prexy of domestic distribution at Warner Bros. Pictures. Pic is Warner Bros.’ first original Imax film.
