Finnish director Johanna Vuoksenmaa’s “Upswing,” about a couple conned of their possessions while on holiday, topped the list with 10 nominations for the Jussis, Finland’s film awards.

“Upswing” will vie for honors with Aleksi Maekelae’s local blockbuster “Bad Boys” and Perttu Leppa’s “Pearls and Pigs.” Vuoksenmaa, Maekelae and Jarmo Lampela (“Eila”) are the candidates for director.

“Eila” came in second with eight noms vs. five for “Bad Boys” and “Pearls and Pigs.” Nine features shared the nominations for the statuettes, to be awarded by the Filmiaura body of film professionals on Sunday.
