TV rights to 'Lost,' '21 Grams,' 'Alexander' included

BERLIN — German paybox Premiere has finalized a long-term output deal with Constantin Film, Germany’s biggest independent producer-distributor.

Deal includes pay TV rights to Sofia Coppola’s “Lost in Translation,” Oliver Stone’s “Alexander” and Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s “21 Grams” as well as Constantin productions “Wrong Turn,” “Girls on Top 2” and “Autobahn Racers.” Also covered by the deal are upcoming Constantin pics from 2004 to 2006, which will premiere on Premiere’s seven movie channels and the Premiere Direkt pay-per-view outlet.

Constantin topper Fred Kogel said, “With the new Premiere, subscription television has finally established itself in Germany and we are convinced that its further growth” will help optimize TV exploitation in Germany.
