Oscar cues its music deadline

Deadline applies to original score and song categories

Distributors and producers must file screen credits with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences by 5 p.m. Dec. 1 for their feature films to qualify for 2004 Oscar consideration.

Deadline also applies to principal music writers hoping to compete in the original score and song categories, who must submit their entries separately.

Forms for both screen credits and musical submissions may be obtained from credits coordinator Howard Loberfeld at hloberfeld@oscars.org, or online at http://aiwosc.oscars.org/aiwosc.
