The WGA West has tapped Spike Jones Jr. to serve as producer of the 56th annual WGA Awards show on Feb. 21 at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.
Jones has served as producer of the Creative Emmy Awards for the past nine years and produced last year’s WGA show at the Beverly Hilton. He’ll work with Anne Beatts, who has won two Emmys and three WGA Awards, along with the Groundlings on the show.
“I am delighted to have the opportunity to build upon what was started last year — and to take the evening to new levels,” said Jones.
As usual, the WGA Awards will be held simultaneously in Los Angeles and New York.
