Tuozzo, Mambo to produce Argentine side of 'Stories'

Hybrid Pictures Intl. and Spanish production and sales company Bulbeck & Mas are teaming on an Argentine-Spanish co-production: “Four Stories.”

Set to roll in January, “Stories” turns on the longtime relationship between two lovers, separated as teens by Argentina’s military dictatorship in the ’70s, and their ensuing adult lives.

Nicolas Tuozzo (“Proxima Salida”) and Mambo Prods. Argentina will produce the Argentine part of the film, which Hybrid will produce using its Argentine production banner, Etoile Filante.

Valencia-based Terra a la Vista has co-prod equity in the project. HPI will handle international sales on “Stories,” which will topline Mariana Skell (“Plata dulce”).
