The Hollywood Foreign Press Assn. has revised its timetable for the 62nd annual Golden Globes Awards.

HFPA announced the initial timetable Thursday. According to HFPA prexy Lorenzo Soria, the calendar change was made to give HFPA members a longer window for viewing films.

“We realized that all the movies will be available for us to be viewed earlier than we had originally planned on,” Soria said. “Moving everything gave us more time.”

The revised dates:

  • Nov. 15: Cecil B. DeMille recipient and Miss Golden Globe announced

  • Dec. 3: Nomination ballots due

  • Dec. 13: Nominations announced

The awards are still set for Jan. 16. Kudocast will be telecast live on NBC.
