Italo pic 'Chooch' stars Famiglietti, Summa

Artistic License has acquired North American rights to Fruitbasket Films’ Italian-American comedy “Chooch.”

The film, whose title comes from the Sicilian word for jackass, follows the misadventures of two cousins from Queens, N.Y., on vacation in Cancun.

Pic, which stars Carmine Famiglietti and Joseph Summa, is slated for release in Gotham Aug. 27.
