Redbus chews ‘Bone’ rights

Deal follows first market screening since Sundance

Redbus Pictures has acquired U.K. rights to the double Sundance prize winner “Down to the Bone” from sales agent Swipe Films.

Deal followed the first market screening since the pic’s Sundance premiere. Swipe is also negotiating sales in France, Italy and Israel.

Debra Granik’s dark drama about a disillusioned young mother struggling with her secret drug habit won the Sundance director’s prize and the special jury prize for actress Vera Farmiga.
