Vans Stevenson has been upped to exec VP of industry affairs and association development at the MPAA.
Among his broad range of responsibilities in the newly created post Stevenson will oversee strategic planning within the organization and work closely with the member studios to identify their priorities.
He was formerly senior VP of state legislation for the org. Exec will continue to manage the state legislative operations.
Stevenson’s promotion is part of MPAA prexy-CEO Dan Glickman’s ongoing changes and staff restructuring since taking over the reins from Jack Valenti.
