Levinson heads for ICM

Helmer waves buh-bye to CAA

Barry Levinson has left CAA and signed with ICM’s John Burnham.

Levinson most recently helmed “Envy” for DreamWorks. He’s in pre-production on “My Italian Story,” to shoot in Rome and Sicily.

The writer, director and producer was previously teamed with producer Paula Weinstein in Baltimore/Spring Creek at Warner Bros. Pictures.

The filmmaker won the director Oscar for “Rain Man.” His credits include “Bugsy” as well as “Tin Men,” “Avalon,” “The Natural,” “Good Morning Vietnam” and “Wag the Dog.”

Levinson also produced the TV series “Homicide: Life on the Street,” for which he won an Emmy as director of a drama series.
