Tim Kirkman, director of the 1998 documentary “Dear Jesse,” will make his feature-helming bow with “Loggerheads.”
Pic stars Elizabeth Perkins, Melinda Dillon, Stockard Channing and Kip Pardue. Production is skedded to begin next month.
Inspired by a true story, “Loggerheads” interweaves three stories in three time periods in the three geographical regions of North Carolina.
Film is the first production for Gill Holland and Lillian LaSalle’s new production and management shingle, LasalleHolland.
Holland produces, with Stephen Hays and LaSalle as executive producers.
“Dear Jesse” was released by Cowboy Booking and earned Emmy and Independent Spirit award noms.
Kirkman also directed the filmed adaptation of David Drake’s one-man show “The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me.”
