ROME — One of the leading film festivals devoted to kids’ fare will launch a Hollywood offshoot in February .
The 34th editition of the Giffoni International Film festival for children and young people is currently underway in a small town outside Naples
The agreement to bring the southern Italian fest to Southern California was signed today by Giffoni prexy Carlo Andria and Steven Paul, president and CEO of Crystal Sky Prods. of L.A.
Actor Jon Voight will be artistic director for the Teen L.A. offshoot, with Giffoni fest director and founder Claudio Gubitosi co-directing.
The Italian fest boasts a kids-only jury with 1300 youngsters from around the world choosing the four prizewinners.
