Halsey Solomon has Solo mission

Co. has gained Italo rights to 'Tension,' 'Eye' sequels

Foreign sales veteran Christian Halsey Solomon has launched an Italian film licensing outfit, Solo Entertainment Italia.

Halsey Solomon has picked up Italian rights to French horror pic “High Tension” from EuropaCorp, and two Cantonese/Thai chillers, “The Eye 2 & 3,” directed by Danny and Oxide Pang from Fortissimo Film Sales.

All three films will be released theatrically through Eagle Pictures.

Solo will draw on the expertise of Halsey Solomon’s father, TV industry veteran Michael Solomon, to incorporate a TV arm into the operation.

Formerly with Helkon in Germany, Halsey Solomon moved to Italy last year to create Cinecitta Financial Consulting based at Rome’s Cinecitta Studios.
