The Hollywood Film Festival will team with the Intl. Documentary Assn. to present screenings and docu-related events at the Oct. 12-18 fest at the ArcLight Theaters.
“We must support filmmakers who, against all odds, are able to memorialize those important moments in human history,” festival founder Carlos de Abreu said.
Event will screen documentaries with a special focus on social and humanitarian themes. It will also stage roundtables that will provide documentarians with direct access to agents, distributors and producers’ reps.
The Intl. Documentary Assn. is a nonprofit org with more than 2,700 members in nearly 50 countries.
