Rob Schneider will star in and produce “Fearless,” a comedy based on an original pitch by Travis Mann and Bob Kosberg, for Revolution Studios.
“Fearless” is the story of a meek soldier who is transformed into a fearless fighting machine when he becomes the subject of a top-secret experiment. Script for the project, which is still in development, is being written by Josh Lieb, whose credits include episodes of “The Simpsons” and “NewsRadio.”
Schneider, his brother and producing partner John Schneider and Michael Chinich will produce through their shingle From Out of Nowhere.
Mann also will produce, while Kosberg will exec produce. Derek Dauchy will oversee the pic for Revolution.
Schneider, repped by Endeavor, most recently starred in the Adam Sandler laffer “50 First Dates” for Sony.
He is in production on the “Deuce Bigalow” sequel “European Gigolo,” which he is producing and toplining, also for Sony. He next will be seen in Disney’s upcoming adventure pic “Around the World in 80 Days.”
