Cinema Epicuria, presenter of the Sonoma Valley Film Festival, has announced a $10,000 combined cash and prize award to honor a first-time feature director at its March 30-April 3 event.

Award includes $5,000 cash and $5,000 in Kodak film. Entry deadline for film submissions for the fest’s eighth edition is Wednesday, with a late entry deadline of Jan. 15.
