‘Dorian’ next on Davis’ slate

Thriller a contempo adaptation of 'Portrait'

After teaming on the Andy Garcia starrer “Modigliani,” helmer Mick Davis next will direct “Dorian” for Bauer Martinez Studios.

Pic, budgeted at about $15 million, is expected to start shooting in October in Romania and London.

Supernatural thriller is a loose modern-day adaptation of “The Portrait of Dorian Gray.” Pic is being produced by Philippe Martinez and Alan Latham.

Davis has been eyeing Ryan Philippe to star in pic, but no deal has been inked.

Bauer Martinez recently produced “Out of Season,” starring Dominique Swain, Dennis Hopper and Gina Gershon.
