Bruce-Smith returns to FilmFour

Little Bird exec back to grow biz

Sue Bruce-Smith has rejoined FilmFour as head of commercial development, in charge of overseeing the company’s commercial interests and developing its business.

Bruce-Smith ankled as sales chief of FilmFour in 2001 to join Little Bird in Dublin as head of production. She will take up her new post in July. She will continue as a shareholder and non-exec director of Little Bird.

FilmFour topper Tessa Ross said of Bruce-Smith, “Her invaluable experience in both the U.K. and internationally and her proven track record are a real asset to the company.”

“I have enjoyed three very exciting and productive years with the Little Bird team and leave very much enriched by the experience,” Bruce-Smith said. “The opportunity presented to me by Tessa Ross was, however, too good to miss and I very much look forward to working with both her and her talented team to help bring the exciting development slate she has been building to the international screen.”
