‘Snicket’ slithers to life

Comedian Connelly shares his cares

HOLLYWOOD — Following Variety‘s Dec. 5 screening of “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events,” Billy Connolly talked about working with snakes.

“It was the strangest set I’ve ever been on,” Connolly told the ArcLight aud. “I’m not too snaky.”

When moderator Pete Hammond asked if the snakes were still slithering around the Par lot, helmer Brad Silberling jested, “in suits.”

Pic’s young star Emily Browning also chimed in about being on set with Jim Carrey.

“We took take after take because we kept laughing at Jim the whole time.”
