Horvitz helms Oscars again

Oscar role for Seligman

Louis J. Horvitz, who has helmed every Oscar show since the 69th telecast in 1997, was tapped Tuesday for another turn behind the camera at the 77th Oscarcast on Feb. 27.

The four-time Emmy winner — three of the nods have come for his Oscar telecast work — just directed “The Kennedy Center Honors” on Sunday. That spec will air Dec. 21 on CBS. He also directed his 11th “Primetime Emmy Awards” ceremony in September.
