Wang to head online campaigns for international pix
Warner Bros. Pictures Intl. has tapped Rossanna Wang veep, new media and interactive marketing — a newly created position.
Wang, who will report to WB Pictures Intl. senior veepee of marketing Fiona Watts, will work on strategic development, implementation and integration of online and wireless marketing campaigns for international pic releases.
Wang’s duties will include managing new-media campaigns to ensure they are in line with international marketing strategies for films and serving as a link between international marketing’s new-media division and studio shingles and business departments. She will also work with Warner Bros. Online, building relationships with online and wireless partners and implementing Web sites and wireless programs for international pics.
Before joining Warner Bros., Wang served as a media marketing consultant, assisting companies in the U.S. and Asia in developing worldwide marketing strategies. Prior to that, she worked at the Mouse House’s Asia Pacific division, most recently serving as veep of marketing for Walt Disney Television International-Asia Pacific.
