Restored pix 'Heroic,' 'Invincible' included in deal

Siren Visual Entertainment will take homevideo rights for Australia and New Zealand on Celestial Shaw Brothers’ martial arts films as well as its three-hour docu series “Cinema Hong Kong,” about the Hong Kong movie biz. Hong Kong’s Celestial Pictures inked the deal.

Siren Visual’s Shaw Brothers collection will be made up of restored pics from celebrated martial arts helmers Chang Cheh and Chu Yuan, including “The Heroic Ones” and “Invincible Shaolin.”

The Siren Visual accord is Celestial’s second deal for Oz/N.Z. Celestial represents the Shaw Brothers film library, the world’s largest collection of Chinese pics.
