Fledgling cabler Si TV has licensed all four seasons of “New York Undercover” as well as five feature films from Universal Domestic Television.
Bulked-up slate includes “Born in East L.A.,” “Cheech & Chong’s Next Movie,” “The Milagro Beanfield War,” “Repo Man” and “Zoot Suit.” All five pics feature Latino talent, such as Ruben Blades and Edward James Olmos.

” ‘New York Undercover’ has proven to be a critically acclaimed show with broad multicultural appeal,” said Steve Rosenberg, prexy of Universal Domestic TV. “We are delighted that Si TV will help bring this series to a whole new generation of viewers.”
Cabler also picked up 22 episodes of action skein “Queen of Swords” from Fireworks Entertainment. Deal was made for three years.
English-language, Latino-themed net will launch in late 2003. It will be carried initially on EchoStar’s Dish Network.
