Satelit TV bankrupt

Three-year-old cable and satellite commercial network Satelit TV has gone bankrupt, a month after being yanked off the air for failing to pay transmission costs to the state antenna company.

A Budapest court has begun liquidation proceedings against station operator TV One Rt.

The network was initially sponsored by Siemens, which withdrew its support of the channel last April.
