HOLLYWOOD — Mipcom, a key international TV trade show in Cannes, will unspool from Friday, Oct. 10 through Tuesday, Oct. 14, and will not spread across the week as usual.
The 11th kids programming mini-market, Mipcom Junior, will run Oct. 8-9 at the Hotel Martinez.
This change is due to the unavailability of the convention center, the Palais des Festival, together with public holidays. In 2004, Mipcom will once again take place from Monday to Friday, Oct. 4-8.
Some 10,272 executives representing 2721 companies attended October’s show.
Mipcom is organized by Reed Midem, which like Daily Variety belongs to the Anglo-Dutch conglom Reed Elsevier.
