Maria lathering up for ‘Illusiones’

Producer Lucero Suarez has coaxed vet actress Angelica Maria back onto a novela set for his “Ramillete de Ilusiones” (Bundle of Illusions), being filmed for broadcaster Grupo Televisa.

Maria was first cast in a Televisa soap in the 1960s. She had supporting roles in several productions in the 1990s but has not appeared in a TV production since 1999’s “Rosalinda.”

Project is toplined by Valentino Lanus and Iran Castillo, who stars in “El Tigre de Santa Julia,” skedded for release in the U.S. later this year.
