Return of '90s campaign draws Murray, Kutcher, King
NEW YORK — Bill Murray, Ashton Kutcher and Larry King are among the celebrities that will show up in the National Basketball Assn.’s 2003-04 advertising campaign.
Campaign is a throwback to the NBA’s ubiquitous “I Love This Game” ad spots — more than 100 in all — that appeared during commercial breaks of both national and local games for eight straight years until 1999. Celebs who participated during that period included Jerry Seinfeld, Bill Cosby, Jennifer Aniston and Cindy Crawford.
Return of the “I Love This Game” campaign kicks off Oct. 28, the opening week of the 2003-04 season, when 11 nationally cablecast games will show up on TNT, ESPN and the digital NBA TV.
