Morning Ratings Flash - Rick Kissell

NBC prevailed on Thursday in the key demo of adults 18-49 behind a strong delivery for “ER,” while CBS won the night in total viewers with “Survivor” and repeats of its crime dramas, according to preliminary nationals from Nielsen.

NBC drama “ER” (9.6/24 in adults 18-49, 20.8 million viewers overall) was the evening’s top show in 18-49, topping the combined scores of CBS repeat drama “Without a Trace” (4.6/12 in 18-49, 13.8 million viewers) and ABC’s “Primetime” (2.6/7 in 18-49, 6.5 million viewers). The Peacock also received strong firstrun comedy results from a special “Tracy Morgan” at 8:30 (5.5/14 in 18-49, 11.6 million viewers) as well as the 9 o’clock hour’s “Will & Grace” (7.5/19 in 18-49, 14.4 million viewers) and “Scrubs” (6.4/15 in 18-49, 12.4 million viewers).
